Nowadays, you can watch the shows you want whenever you want on your smart devices. This momentum is further accelerating the speed of change of media environment. In the near future, the new technologies such as AI, VR, IoT, and Metabus will allow us to interact with media in manners we have never imagined before. The fields of studies related to media and communication must change accordingly. The Graduate School of Media Information was developed for that purpose.

Media Information Studies pays attention to human interactions with various media platforms and discusses all aspects of media and information technologies. The program focuses on studying the entire ecosystem of media creators, government authorities, and media users in the fast-paced media environment. We are dedicated to nurturing future leaders for new convergence of media and communication.

The curriculums integrate all technologies necessary to understand the theories and technologies of media ecosystem and to lead the academic sector of new media. (1) The theoretic courses discuss the traditional theories and searches new theories based on them. (2) The methodology courses discuss the fundamentals of traditional quantitative and qualitative methodologies and includes data science programs. (3) The Industry-connected Problem-based Learning (IC-PBL) programs are developed to academically address the problems in industries.
